Total Compensation and Benefits Statement
- Challenge:
Provide employee-owners with an accurate and comprehensive breakdown of the benefits offered to them as well as the annual deductions. Personalization expanded to include various retirement plans as well as future values, where applicable. - Solution:
Develop a 6-page statement with complex programming and personalization so that every scenario for their variety of employees is captured and adequately explained. The goal was to have a document that tells a complete story of the benefits and compensation provided to supplement the smaller communications sent throughout the year. A smaller version of the statement was also provided for employees in Canada. - Result:
A broader understanding of the complexity and breadth of benefits offered by Burns & McDonnell. Employees reported finding value in this as a financial tool to help them plan ahead – both for Open Enrollment choices in the coming year and for retirement. Both print and secure digital statements were delivered to employees.
