Benefit Communications

  • Challenge:
    To move the majority of benefits communication to an online format as part of their going green initiative.
  • Solution:
    Build a benefits website to house all material previously printed by way of Open Enrollment and New Hire guides. Since a large portion of their population does not spend the day behind a computer, we decided to use a tiered approach to ease the employees into the transition beginning with a landing page supplemented with print and then the following years moving each location to a fully functional HTML site.
  • Result:
    Approximately 95% of all benefits communications are now electronic and usage of the site can be tracked by location to know what pages are visited the most and the least by employees. These analytics provide valuable information into benefits don’t receive the expected attention and communications can be focused around increasing education around those benefits.
